If you are a potential or continuing international student, Mission College’s International Student Center offers you a one-stop, full-time office with a wide range of services that help you reach your academic and professional goals while at Mission College.
Our International Student Center is staffed with immigration advisors and academic counselors. With their guidance and your hard work, you can:
- Study English first in our intensive English language program if you need to increase your English skills before starting your college studies, and/or
- Earn an Associate’s degree, or
- Complete the first half of your Bachelor’s degree before you transfer to a private or public university including the many well-known universities the San Francisco Bay Area.
In addition, we want you to be able to say, "Yes," to the following: By using the services of the International Student Center at Mission College, I
- Understand the immigration regulations that impact my lawful status so I can be a successful student,
- Will complete my Associate Degree or transfer program in three years, assuming I have met the English requirement first.

Our total enrollment is approximately 9,000 students. Over 450 students from many countries worldwide attend Mission College.
We have many four-year universities to which you can transfer after you complete your program at Mission college. They include San Jose State University (www.sjsu.edu); California State University East Bay (www.csueb.edu); San Francisco State University (www.sfsu.edu); University of Santa Clara (www.scu.edu), University of California Santa Cruz (www.ucsc.edu) etc. Prestigious Stanford University and University of California Berkeley are our neighbors, too.
At Mission College, you can:
- Study English in our intensive English program that offers TOEFL-waived admission to Mission College,
- Earn an Associate Degree,
- Complete the first 60 units of your Bachelor Degree,
- Earn units that you can transfer to a 4-year university,
- Complete a certificate program if it is in conjunction with your degree program.
We have a full-service, one-stop international student center with advisors and counselors, who can answer all of your immigration and academic questions. We take pride in helping each student individually. Please contact us.
